Project Manager (Carbon Management)

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion, and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

Define and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Senior Management and stakeholders
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication document
Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and client stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Develop high level solution architecture using standard Envision software
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
In support of sales and marketing activities, meet with customers, lead carbon software product demo, and understand customers' needs, and define appropriate solutions. Assist in the determination of new business opportunities and make recommendations on the technical resources needed to participate in new businesses. Assists in the development of business plans and go-to-market strategies.
Act as carbon subject matter expert, directly involved in carbon projects and provide recommendations on the up-to-date carbon accounting methodologies and reporting scope 1,2 and 3 emissions activities
Manage schedule, cost, scope, and quality for the deliverables, especially managing these with the external collaboration partners and system integrators
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Optimizing and improving processes and overall approaches where necessary

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant qualifications
5-10 years or more working experience in Carbon Management, Renewables or Energy or Digital/Technology related industries
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
Good time management and prioritization
Capacity to manage high stress situations.
Self-starter and proven ability to solve problems creatively.
Strong interpersonal skills and resourceful.
Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and in matrix organization
Solid knowledge of data communication protocols, electricity power meters integration and Cloud-based Monitoring systems, performance analytics would be greatly advantageous
