The Strategy and Programs team supports Stripe's mission (to 'Increase the GDP of the Internet') by empowering the Revenue Organization to achieve their goals. We bring expertise, rigorous thinking, and a user-first approach to problem solving, and help build connections between users, Stripe go-to-market teams, and the business overall.

Our segmentation program managers are focused on designing a sales organization that's scalable, allows for clarity of roles and excellence in execution across each segment and region, and through the lifecycle of a customer. We are looking for a self-starter to join our team who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a fast-growing environment, and solving problems with limited oversight. We are looking for someone who will deliver high-impact GTM transformations, and can effectively deploy strategic frameworks, closely partner with cross-functional teams, and make data-driven decisions.

You will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and lifecycle journeys across segments and markets
  • Determine a cohesive sales unit for different customer types based on Stripe segments and markets
  • Define the rules of engagement, including activities that each sales role drives versus plays a supporting role
  • Design metrics and analytics to assess sales unit and role effectiveness
  • Work with sales leaders to help conduct reviews and resource planning
  • Develop governance processes to align sales unit effectiveness with territory planning, targets, and budgeting
  • Identify and execute initiatives designed to optimize sales team efficiency and productivity

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Systems thinking to understand and execute on downstream dependencies
  • Ability to quickly move from detailed work to executive-level discussions
  • Comfort managing cross-functional stakeholders, and supporting change management for transformational programs
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • A proven record of owning and leading by proactively managing end-to-end execution of programs that have transformed your company's operations and delivered quantifiable business impact

Nice to haves:

  • A background in organizational capabilities, organizational development, and/or strategy consulting
