About the team:

Robinhood is looking for a Program Manager to join our growing Program Management Office (PMO) team that supports the Product org and CPO office with expertise and passion for program strategy, operations, and prioritization.

You'll partner with senior leadership to develop cross-functional processes and manage broad programs for the Product Org, run day-to-day activities within the PMO, and collaborate with other department leaders to further the goals of the Product Org and the company.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver who takes responsibility and ownership to make processes and programs run smoothly, and who has the ability to understand the team's needs and dynamics as they evolve. This role requires project management experience, as well as a general sense of the product development process. Strong organization skills, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex logistics are mandatory.

What you'll do day-to-day:

  • Develop and optimize processes and policies that enable the product organization to work efficiently and deliver cross-functional programs tied to business OKRs
  • Develop measurements to define program progress and ultimate success; establish ongoing reporting requirements and KPIs for planning and recognizing adoption and success
  • Drive operational improvements to reduce cost and increase overall impact for programs and product initiatives
  • Have a strong bias for action, keep momentum on key projects, and enable leadership to stay abreast of critical decisions and timelines
  • Build out and create resources for programs such as product launch best practices, onboarding, processes improvements, and vendor management
  • Create, maintain, and refine programs and initiatives; establish operational systems and outcomes
  • Identify the need for new internal processes, templates, and guidelines to improve org efficiency, and refine and optimize processes and documentation over time
  • Maintain and enhance a culture of high performance, delivery, and continuous improvement

About you:

  • 6+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Ability to anticipate leadership and organizational needs and change course correct appropriately
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery, and ability to communicate results to senior leadership
  • Experience in using formal project/program management tools, supported by project management standards
  • Ability to analyze a business process, and to articulate and implement recommended improvements
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills
  • Proven self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines, and to provide leadership to the team all with minimal supervision
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment

This job is following Robinhood's Primarily Work from Home model which means the Robinhoodie can work primarily from home, but will need to live within a commutable distance of up to three hours of the office location they are based out of. They will need to come into the office as-needed and semi-regularly to meet business continuity and regulatory requirements.
