As Product Manager for Commercial Systems, reporting to the Director of Product Management (Growth), you'll play a critical role in designing, evolving, and innovating our optimal commercial system stack for sales, marketing and finance. You will be at the very centre of a software ecosystem intended to take Trustpilot's proposition to customers in a way that delivers on how they want to buy, and how Trustpilot is best suited to sell.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to determine the right tools and systems to underpin our growth aspirations and improve operational efficiency. This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving all commercial business systems and will be seen as a key driver to the success of our business. Your primary stakeholders will be the wider commercial function (online & offline sales), our operations teams, and our new monetization (pricing) function with whom you will work closely. The suitable candidate will have sharp commercial instincts and will be skilful at articulating the rationale behind product decisions.

In your role, you will:

  • Assess our communication tools, identifying gaps and solutions, determining and building the right systems architecture to support for online and offline sales
  • Determine what data and tooling will make our teams most efficient and empowered, and come up with creative solutions and business cases when required, to contribute to making these a reality
  • Oversee projects which will automate internal processes (lead scoring, task distribution, notification & alerting) and manage them to time / quality
  • Partner up with Monetization function to arrive the most effective ways to deliver Trustpilot's offers to customers, and change pricing and packaging configuration accordingly
  • Think constantly about how we sell, and what customers want from their buying experience
  • Be a part of, and work collaboratively with a committed engineering team
  • Gather knowledge about the problems you're undertaking through research and regular interactions with stakeholders; define and frame these problems together with your team
  • Track progress and measure impact by constantly evaluating if your solutions are solving the problem through quantitative and qualitative measures
  • Motivate your team and the people around you to do the best work possible
  • Effectively prioritize nice-to-have activities vs essential structural changes, based upon consultation and sound commercial judgement (based upon business benefits)
  • We are looking for people with:
  • Experience as a product manager or managing internal business systems at a large SaaS company, used to making priority calls on different and sometimes conflicting demands
  • Background in internal systems or processes
  • Experience with CRM systems; for example Salesforce
  • Experience with subscription management (Zuora or similar)
  • Experience with email automation software (Hubspot, Maketo, Eloquoa)
  • Great communicator to explain product decisions and the rationale behind them
  • Skilled prioritization and planning skills
  • Friendly, knowledgeable, and motivational to others. Open to diversity in all shapes and sizes
  • Commercially oriented, understanding the business needs and be able to propose solutions that accommodate the needs
