NEWNESS is seeking a product manager to help drive and launch product features that will delight our passionate community of users. You'll translate ideas into strategy and features, and follow product development from start to finish.

To succeed in this role, you should be a great communicator, creative leader, and problem-solver. You'll work with teams across NEWNESS to ensure our roadmap is driving us toward the best possible version of our product. This role will have a huge impact on the product vision, strategy, principles, priorities as we scale and help define the future of live streaming and the creator economy.

This role reports to to the Head of PDE (Product, Design, and Engineering)

What will you be doing at NEWNESS?

    • Leverage user research and competitive benchmarking to deliver a world-class user experience
    • Develop written requirements and define success metrics and associated use-cases for new projects, shepherding projects from ideation to test results analysis and iteration.
    • Gain a deep understanding of our market, competitors, and the community experience for creators and viewers.
    • Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that drive growth and joy.
    • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams and leadership to align on the product vision and roadmap.
    • Shape and launch products that deliver on the company's vision and strategy.
    • Own core features end-to-end. Define product specs.
    • Drive cross-functional execution. Make complex decisions and share insights and results company-wide.
    • Refine and iterate on user personas.
    • Define, understand, and improve key growth funnels and metrics.
    • Analyze feedback, metrics, and user research; understand user needs.
    • Audit our current features. What do we do well? How could we improve?
    • Cultivate trust with engineering, marketing, community, and creator acquisition teams.

About you:

    • 5+ years in product management
    • 3+ years experience in consumer-focused (B2C) engagement, membership, and/or retention product management.
    • Experience in the direct-to-consumer / eCommerce, or creator economy space is greatly preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
    • Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch.
    • Strong empathy for our users.
    • Technical proficiency. Effective at working closely with engineers.
    • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and lead the team towards product-market-fit.
    • Strong communication and influence skills; proven ability to create clarity and drive alignment.

    • Past founder experience, or as an early contributor to a high-growth company.

    • Basic understanding of regulatory risk with user-generated content.
    • Understanding of the financial KPIs i.e., LTV of the customer.
