Why is the Post Merger Integration Project Manager important to us?

Shapeways is looking for a Post Merger Integration Project Manager to join our team. As the Post Merger Integration Project Manager, you will help build our integration capabilities and work with all functional areas of Shapeways to make our acquisitions succeed.

This is a fully remote position and reports directly to the VP, Operations. Travel expectations will be ~ 75% of the time.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead cross-functional post-acquisition integration efforts; managing and executing on the integration strategy
  • Work with functional leaders to drive decision making, issue resolution, and risk mitigation
  • Proactively drive alignment across a diverse set of stakeholder groups
  • Build out and maintain the development of repeatable playbooks
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and collaboratively institutionalize necessary changes
  • In partnership with the People team, support Change Management efforts to retain employees and drive engagement
  • Support execution of pre-acquisition due diligence efforts), lead synergy tracking, and synthesize diligence data to identify KPIs and trends that translate into actionable insights
  • Execute advanced quantitative analyses and project planning, including bottoms-up operating models
  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g. people, product, engineering, policy, communications, legal, finance) to operationalize recommendations
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate results and insights with cross-functional teams by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways

You might be a good fit if (you have/are):

  • 5+ years of in-depth work experience leading the integration acquisitions; including some combination of investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development
  • Experience navigating complex operational hurdles resulting from mergers and acquisitions, preferably in a hyper-growth company
  • Stellar communication skills with the ability to collect, structure, and propagate information in order to accelerate decision making and propel forward progress
  • Creativity, adaptability, tenacity, a sense of urgency and hands-on, roll-up your sleeves work ethic
  • Broad experience in cross-functional partnerships; including, but not limited to program management, change management, and retention planning
  • Experience in enterprise technology is a plus
  • Team-oriented, can-do attitude who is able to demonstrate operational excellence, identify issues, and make recommendations to resolve
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, drive outcomes, & improve processes with every iteration
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
