About The RoleWe are looking for a Legal and Compliance Ops Analyst to join our small, but mighty Legal and Compliance team to accelerate the development of our legal and compliance programs. This is a generalist role, with an emphasis on supporting our global expansion and regulatory licensing. You will create entities around the world, assist with Employer of Record (EOR) and possibly other types of licensing applications, apply for workers' compensation registrations, and help with other compliance matters. You will develop processes from the ground up to create standardized procedures that help the Legal and Compliance team and Rippling operate more efficiently and effectively. What You Will Do

  • Create entities around the world, apply for workers' compensation in several countries and apply for EOR licenses
  • Oversee, monitor, and execute external and internal regulatory processes and licensing applications related to our EOR and global businesses
  • Create and maintain clear documentation on key regulatory processes
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including contacts with outside counsel, and various international government agencies regarding licensing compliance items
  • Assist with other legal and compliance projects as the need arises
What You Will Need
  • 2+ years of paralegal experience or experience in a legal and/or compliance function
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset (flexible, self-starting and hard-working)
  • Ability to execute tasks at high speed
  • Sense of humor
