As an Engineering Lead, you will be leading, inspiring, and helping your team grow. We are looking for a creative problem solver who will actively engage with stakeholders to translate long term goals into short term product iterations. Our ideal candidate has experience running a multi-discipline team of engineering professionals with the ability to motivate and build a high performing team. In this role, you will split your time between hands-on technical work and people management for a small team of engineers. The predominant focus at this level is mentorship, technical planning, resource allocation, project delivery, and as technical advisors to product and design and other organizational work. You will be expected to perform hands-on technical work at least 70% of your time and are expected to be writing and reviewing code with your team.

As the Engineering Lead for the Quality Engineering team, you will lead and grow a scalable QA department that delivers high-quality, fast-to-market software.

You Will Have The Opportunity To:

  • Coordinate with our Leadership Team, to help facilitate professional growth and development of team members, as well as lead cross-functional collaboration across multiple groups within the company.
  • Lead all quality assurance, test automation, and release engineering-related activities across multiple device platforms, and teams (Manual and Automation)
  • Play a key role in troubleshooting, triaging, and diagnosing production issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Design to ensure products are delivered with high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Work with the QA Team Leads on the release process and testing of components and end-to-end product test coverage.
  • Play a key role in troubleshooting, triaging, and diagnosing production issues.

We Are Looking For You If You Have:

  • Demonstrative leadership experience in mentoring, coaching, and team building (including performance reviews and career plans)
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders on initiatives to move the departments forward
  • Experience interacting and having influence over a global team - this is highly preferred!
  • Developed consistent best practices in order to meet the ongoing business needs
  • The ability to drive resolution to escalations, including post-mortem, root cause analysis, and implementations to ensure long term remediation of issues
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Notion, Figma, Cypress + JS, Appium + JS/Kotlin
