Carbon

DLS Production Enablement Manager

Carbon

Remote job description

Working at the intersection of hardware, software, and molecular science, we are committed to delivering on the promise of 3D printing, enabling commercial customers to go beyond basic prototyping to 3D manufacturing.

Our company is built on the idea that when diverse fields of study come together, we are able to solve challenging problems. You will be joining a diverse team with a dynamic culture, where team success is as important as celebrating individual contributions. We pride ourselves in developing an environment where we all can teach, learn, and grow together.

Carbon is seeking a DLS Production Enablement Manager

? Spend time deeply embedded with several important LVP customers struggling to get
internal organizational buy-in or buy-in from their own customers. Work with them to remove
hurdles and ease the path at each step, learning what works and what doesn't, and tracking
similarities across companies for future, more scalable programs
? Create turn-key, repeatable methods for organizations to educate engineers on
? Design possibilities and requirements for using DLS
? Availability and advantages of using DLS for production
? Develop clear approaches for OEMs and service bureaus for validation of our parts
? Help develop clear approaches (programs, education, etc.) for validating our entire process
for production
? Help create a financial tool that allows customers to explain to their own internal skeptics or
buyers when spending more to validate this process will more than pay for itself in the future
? Develop sales kits for our industrial segment that are industry specific and functional to help
mechanical engineers understand the possibilities engendered by DLS
? Educate GTM so they can paint an accurate but compelling picture for the path to production
? Identify the best approaches to reach our target audience (through white papers, our own
marketing department, blog posts, etc.)... to scale the spread of this content

Requirements
? Mechanical Engineering professional
? Expertise in additive manufacturing, and specifically with DLS
? Experience navigating large, complex organizations, with success advancing projects across
divisions
? Helpful, outgoing personality with ability to teach and explain complex technical concepts
? Experience with additive prototyping - and bringing multiple projects successfully through
production
