About the Role:

As a Director of Product at Motive, you will be responsible for leading a product area and will have joint responsibility of P&L of the business. You will be responsible for setting the vision for your product area and partner closely with engineering, design and other stakeholders to make the vision a reality. We'll be relying on you to own the success of mission-critical initiatives that will drive rapid company growth. And you'll need to quickly develop expert knowledge of our customers, our offerings, and the market. In return, you'll receive visibility across the organization and will be a key voice in one of the most exciting companies in the transportation industry. In this role you will be leading the Cards product team. You will be responsible for everything about the product - from devising the strategy, managing and scaling the team, and overseeing the execution. Cards business is critical to the company's mission and you will play a key role in scaling and making this business successful.

What You'll Do:

• Develop new financial products & platforms to create optimal customer experiences that help drive user engagement with our website and mobile app.
• Partner with business leaders from stakeholder teams on formulation and execution of digital strategy, vision and product roadmap
• Build and manage an exceptional team of product managers
• Get close to our customers to discover their needs and translate that into solutions that help them get more out of Motive.
• Partner closely with our design team to design product features that turn our customers into raving fans
• Partner closely with engineering to quickly and iteratively ship code that has a very high success rate
• Actively contribute to an amazing work culture

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years experience with Product Management
• High customer empathy, with a desire to get in the shoes of our customers
• Have high "EQ"; be even-keeled, flexible, and able to quickly adapt to unexpected changes
• Proven experience in delivering commercially successful software products
• Be data-driven; you regularly seek out and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and opinions
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with different personality types and seniority levels
• Experience managing and building product management teams. Be a coach, role model and create conditions for success.
• Have enough technical knowledge to enough to gain the respect of software engineers
• Experience working effectively with remote/offshore teams
