A Day in the Life of Our Director, Product:

This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, content operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities & partnerships.
In this role, you will be driving roadmap prioritization based on metrics, user research, and legal & business requirements.
You will be taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results for Crunchyroll's International product expansion.
As a low ego product management leader, you value the importance of developing strong and positive relationships with colleagues, direct reports, and other departments.

About the Role:

As a Director, of Product Management, you will be responsible for driving the International expansion of our product and to make our apps feel local to our customers around the world
You will help define and drive new product initiatives that allow customer acquisition and retention worldwide across all apps & services
Build a deep understanding of users outside of US to uncover gaps and enhance product features that delights our customers
Develop a solid relationship with International business team, marketing, BD, & legal and collaborate on expanding in the international markets

You will build a replicable product playbook for expanding across markets:

Become a close partner, advocate, and a go-to authority for internal and external stakeholders on features, user pain points, the product roadmap, and feature releases
Experience delivering product features to support International laws and requirements
Evaluate key product metrics, usage, and develop features that help retain and engage international users

About You:

6+ years of demonstrated ability in Product Management
4+ years of tried experience leading and motivating hard-working, product management teams in an agile environment
4+ years of experience in International product support, Experience building apps for international users (APAC, Europe, and LatAm) with a focus on user engagement
Demonstrates product instincts and the capability to balance technical, user, and business needs
Proven experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams
An analytical mentality and proven experience using data to advise decisions
Strong written and oral communication skills
Bachelor's degree

Pluses:

Experience with subscription services
Experience with launching services internationally
Experience in integrating with payment gateway providers.
Experience with launching building and scaling products or platforms.
Experience in GDPR, LGPD, India Personal Data & Protection Act
