We are looking for a senior engineering leader to lead our Cloud Engineering and Site Reliability teams. As part of the Infrastructure, these teams provide the building blocks needed to enable engineering velocity with reliability.

Cloud Engineering is responsible for creating guardrails, policies, and tooling to drive down operation burden. Additional responsibilities include foundational and cloud services that are commonly used by Clari teams.

Site Reliability Engineering works with engineering teams to improve Clari's availability and reliability by building capabilities (Circuit breakers, standardized monitoring, alert routing, etc.) and establish standards and processes.

As we scale the organization, our goal is to build foundational capabilities and self-service tools that enable engineering teams to innovate on the product experience. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for building reliable cloud native applications and will have the opportunity to empower and impact all engineering teams within Clari.

Responsibilities

Lead the Cloud Engineering and SRE organizations, and manage a team of engineering managers and software engineers
Partner with product and engineering leadership to achieve Clari's business goals by identifying and prioritizing initiatives quarterly and annually
Champion an atmosphere of continuous improvement and deep customer empathy, both for internal and external customers
Prioritize execution and support your team in delivering high-quality results
Create and iterate on processes to increase the effectiveness of your teams
Scale your organization by partnering with Recruiting to attract and retain diverse top talent
Create a healthy, diverse, and inclusive team culture consistent with Clari's values
Mentor, coach, and develop tech leaders, first and second-line engineering managers
Be an advocate and coach for world-class engineering practices in building and running high-performance, highly secure, and highly available systems
Guide your team to make sound architecture decisions and create an environment where technical innovation thrives

Qualifications

12+ years of professional experience that includes individual contributor, tech leadership, and management. 5+ years of recent experience in leadership roles
Multi-year experience in leading technical teams in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure and platforms
Experience on AWS technologies, building Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities that enable teams to build cloud native applications without the need to understand the underlying infrastructure
Committed to cultivating an inclusive team culture, focused on learning, collaboration, and a growth mindset
Multi-year experience with highly scalable and highly-available systems. You know how to participate in the technical details while still empowering your team to make decisions
Track record of coaching and mentoring Engineering leaders on both technical and management tracks
Strong business acumen, and comfortable interacting with customers directly when needed
Deep understanding of Agile fundamentals and mental models that promote strong execution
You have rapidly scaled teams and know how to develop and execute a growth strategy
