Who We Are:

• Confluent's infrastructure org includes an engineering team focused strictly on understanding, reporting, and lowering our public cloud provider costs. Cost engineering subsystems offer insight into infrastructure analytics and regular reporting which further breaks down this information into actionable business data.
• These insights are also used to drive architectural improvements across the platform on all engineering teams, giving this team a unique ability to impact the business directly and learn about all facets of Confluent cloud engineering.

The Impact & Who You Are:

• Develop services in golang and python that regularly capture infrastructure details into our data warehouse
• Work directly with all three major cloud provider APIs to tag resources programmatically based on rich context available within the rest of the cloud platform
