As Chief of Staff to the SVP of Operations, you will work closely with the operations leadership team to build an operational machine that will enable Scale to achieve its next stage of growth. In this role, you will help define top-level operations priorities & goals, execute key initiatives and programs, drive annual / quarterly planning processes, and recruit talented individuals to build out a world-class organization.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is able to combine analytical rigor and an obsessive focus on outcomes with an empathetic interpersonal style. You have a demonstrated ability to establish credibility with senior stakeholders, and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to tackle a variety of challenges. You will:

• Partner with the SVP of Operations and other senior leadership to define business priorities, drive execution of key initiatives, and create alignment between and within teams.
• Help drive quarterly and annual planning and budgeting processes for Operations.
• Perform analyses and provide recommendations to facilitate effective decision making.
• Own key operational rhythms / processes (weekly leadership meetings, All Hands, OKR reviews, team offsites), including preparing the agenda, facilitating the discussions, documenting notes / action items, and closing out follow ups.
• Identify and tackle ad hoc strategic projects - examples include developing capacity models to improve operations efficiency, revamping processes to close operational gaps, and developing hiring strategies.
• Act as a thought partner to Ops leadership, proactively flagging gaps and providing solutions / recommendations.

Ideally you'd have:

• 5+ years experience in management consulting, business operations, or other highly strategic, analytical and operational role within a rapidly growing company.
• Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong orientation towards outcomes, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
• A proven ability to work and build relationships with a wide range of people, and influence without direct authority.
• Comfort with ambiguity - able to dive into new areas / open-ended questions, quickly understand / diagnose the needs, and develop and iterate on a solution.
