Referral Coordinator

We are searching for a Referral Coordinator on behalf of our client, a health center that serves the LGBTQ+ community in Portland, OR.

This position will primarily be a work from home role while the center operates on mostly Telehealth appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule qualified appointments with prospective clients
• Educate prospective clients on products and services
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints
• Maintain record of client contact information
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

​Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of experience working in a related role
• Computer and customer service skills
• Attention-to-detail
• Medical terminology knowledge
• HIPAA and patient confidentiality knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $18.50/hour

This is a 3 month, temporary position that has the possibility of being extended and becoming a permanent role with the organization. This position is being offered by Abbott & Associates, Professional Placement.
