The Vice President of Corporate Communications will lead MongoDB's strategic communications efforts to advance MongoDB's corporate narrative and position to critical stakeholder groups including influencers, investors, consumers, media and others. This is a highly visible executive leadership position and the successful candidate will be equally comfortable driving near term results while scaling the people, processes and systems for the future in a dynamic, hyper growth environment. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience developing integrated and strategic communications programs that span media relations, analyst relations, executive visibility, financial communications, and digital media. This role can be based out of our San Francisco, Seattle, New York City office or remotely in North America. Here's What You'll Be Doing Lead a powerhouse communications team responsible for strategic communications, public relations, analyst relations, employee communications, and crisis management Build and deliver a global communications plan that drives long-term company awareness and perception Provide strategic guidance to executives, leaders, and agency partners on identifying and engaging with media, analysts, and influencers Translate our mission of transforming how companies build data-driven applications and leverage the wider ecosystem to transform our customer stories into a narrative that resonates with a global audience Enable internal stakeholder groups on MongoDB's purpose, vision, values, culture, positioning, and voice Lead the identification, development, pitching and placement of MongoDB-related stories in top tier business, consumer and financial media worldwide, in print, digital and broadcast outlets Create a center of excellence that provides tools, expertise and counsel to help advance local market communications and business objectives for global team members Build and maintain a strong network of business partners across all levels of the global organization Partner with Marketing, Sales, and the Executive Leadership team to ensure corporate messaging is carried through in their communications Partner with the CEO, CFO, and other executives to develop and lead all strategic communications, including developing plans to take advantage of key company milestones, preparing press releases, presentation decks, and earnings releases We're Excited About You Because You 12+ years marketing or communications leadership experience in a high-growth B2B/B2D systems/SaaS/Enterprise software company Understand how to leverage various channels to generate a groundswell of positive awareness and perception Are an inclusive and impactful communications leader with global experience navigating organizational complexities.
