About the Role

As a Technical Writer, you will be involved with building a doc infrastructure for scale to support a multi-product offering, implement and support single-sourcing and structured authoring, as well as support internal customers with their internal or customer facing content.

What You'll Bring

• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders to identify and create content to improve customer experience with our products
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization and commitment to meet product release dates
• Structured authoring experience with an editor like Oxygen, Markdown, XMetaL, ArborText, MadCap Flare, or Adobe FrameMaker (structured)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps software development with continuous delivery

What You'll Do

• Develop content using structured authoring tools
• Track and control changes to documentation source files using a version control system like GIT, SVN, or a CCMS
• Develop graphics and illustrate concepts with a graphics or photo imaging tool like Snagit, Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Photoshop
• Manage and prioritize projects using JIRA
• Conduct informational interviews and task analysis

About Our Process

The most aligned candidate will then be asked to do a practical work task simulation activity so we can make sure that you will enjoy the kind of work the role requires, and this task will typically be presented and discussed with a group of colleagues and managers.
