The partner ecosystem is a significant, and fast-growing, part of Attentive's core revenue strategy - empowering deal flow via referrals, heightened close/won rates, and broader network exposure for our rapidly expanding mobile messaging platform.

As our VP of Partnership, you have a strong background in marketing technology, specifically within CRM, marketing automation, or broader DTC messaging space, and have experience working across both agencies and technology organizations.

This role has significant visibility at the executive level, and reports directly into the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities

    • Design and execute overall partnership roadmap geared to aligning with our long term vision, including international expansion, new vertical growth, and new product launches
    • Become an expert on Attentive's product, our competition, and the markets in which we compete
    • Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, product, client strategy and engineering teams to give feedback on product requirements, guide our market positioning, and provide key deal support
    • Identify and sign strategic partnerships with companies through the CRM and online marketing ecosystem, while scaling our existing strategic partnerships to drive incremental sales
    • Forecast pipeline and revenue from partners on a monthly basis
    • Lead and mentor a global team of over 15 people
    • Represent Attentive with partners externally, and be an active voice for Attentive in the martech ecosystem.

Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 10+ years of proven experience in a strategic partnerships, business development or outside sales role at a software company, preferably a company providing digital marketing software / CRM software, such as ESP or marketing clouds.
    • Comfort working on a strategic level with senior leadership
    • Consistent track record of building, developing and managing high performing teams.
    • Must be flexible and able to excel in a fast-paced, fluid environment
    • Experience with Salesforce.com
