We are seeking a Senior SEO & Content Marketing Specialist to join our team!

Role and Responsibilities

  • Brand: Develop monthly and quarterly editorial calendars and write dynamic and engaging content related to our brand, "how to's," "offers," and other relevant topics, for various marketing channels including SEO, Brand, CRM and Affiliate Marketing.
  • Evergreen: Conceptualize, research and write long form, evergreen content pieces to help drive organic search traffic.
  • Craft engaging and conversion focused copy for CRM campaigns including emails, push and SMS messages, targeted at both current consumers, as well as our prospects.
  • Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal setting based on clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.
  • Collaborate with designers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Develop and manage copy-write content, as well as social media calendar.
  • Research, write and edit copy across all channels (website, e-mail, blogs, social media, digital advertising, etc.)
  • Create handholding copy that leads users through a seamless web or mobile experience (owner's manuals, how-to guides, etc.)
  • Optimize and test copy utilizing data (email open rates, click through, etc.)
  • Develop overall best practices and copy guidelines based on qualitative research and copy testing results
  • Provide overall creative copy strategy for messaging frameworks, specific to key user segments and new or existing channels
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned by leadership

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 5+ years of copy-write experience (B2C and B2B) either at an agency or in-house
  • 5+ years of experience writing for digital advertising and SEO
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism or a related field
  • Thorough knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and key algorithm updates
  • Proficiency in web analytics software (Google Analytics/Adobe) and keyword tools
  • Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience producing content for the web specifically, and multi-channel writing experience (social, web, public relations, print, digital, and video)
  • Strong data-based research skills and a passion for developing compelling content
  • Expert proficiency in the English language: spelling, grammar, and punctuation with copy editing experience
  • Able to develop efficient processes/systems to manage numerous projects and deadlines
  • Ability to articulate how business objectives translate to specific marketing copy strategy
  • Showcase a professional portfolio of well-crafted copy for various brands
  • Ability to balance brand voice and style with marketing strategies
  • Detailed in your execution but adaptable in your approach
  • Quickly adapt to last-minute asks and changing timelines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who is capable of working as both a producer and an editor
  • Understands user experience and usability, accessibility, writing for the web, and meeting user needs with content.
