We are seeking a Brand Marketing and Strategy Senior Manager to drive how the Discord brand and product comes to life through go-to-market, brand assets, and global campaigns. You'll be the center of gravity and the glue for building the story we tell across channels and across the world. We are seeking someone who has demonstrated success in leveraging qualitative and quantitative analysis developing strategic insights for fast growing products and companies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams: product, partnerships, user research, external partners and marketing leads to drive and manage brand marketing strategies to inform our global campaigns. This role requires the ability to develop brand strategy and global campaign creation through a deep understanding of our market, our users, our products, our brand and our business goals. You will report to the Director of Marketing.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead development and execution of a brand strategy that helps advance the strategic priorities of Discord and demonstrate positive influence on go-to-market and campaigns through research, testing, and insights, and building effective go-to-market strategies that bring innovative advertising experiences to market.
  • Inspire the company and our customers with powerful campaigns that drive user growth and retention. Drive international expansion efforts, defining new market launches, communicating and implement the strategy internally and externally
  • Play a critical role in leading the end-to-end process and participate in final GTM results
  • Play a key role in providing inputs to influence decisions across Marketing, Engineering/Product and all business functions
  • Focus on identifying growth opportunities across markets, customers and products, and size opportunities for new audiences, new markets, and product offerings
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to generate impactful strategic insights to make decisions on how to optimize growth for the Discord brand
  • Stay on top of trends in the market, find opportunities and develop strategy to grab the opportunities and understand the competitors.

What you should have

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer technology marketing
  • Proven ability to develop strategic marketing plans
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of global marketing
  • Ability to set measurable goals and reliably execute on them
  • Ability to take groundbreaking ideas and operationalizing them by catalyzing action and
  • Aligning the appropriate resources / partners
  • Proven ability to create and execute global and geo-specific GTM plans
  • Experience with how strategies and plans are guided by audience insights and behaviors
  • Eexperience in accurately prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward
  • New York City residents only: Minimum salary of $117,000/year + equity and benefits
