We are looking for a Retention Marketing Manager who will manage and evolve the Daily Communications strategy at Grailed through enhanced content personalization, user segmentation, and rapid experimentation. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the email and push communications calendar, including franchise development, experiment design, and the production, deployment, and analysis of weekly campaigns with the goal of increasing GMV and customer lifetime value via engagement, activation and repeat purchase. The role will also assist in launching new marketing technology capabilities to innovate how Grailed personalizes and segments Daily Communications across email and push.

As Retention Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Work closely with stakeholders across Retention, Merchandising, Brand, Supply, and Creative to own the Daily Communications calendar
  • Create and refine processes to increase the operational efficiency of workflows that support daily communications calendar (Ex: Asana, Shortcut, Sprint Planning, etc.)
  • Manage timelines, asset delivery and review meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and operational excellence for Daily Communications campaigns
  • Oversee the end-to-end campaign build process including development, QA, and deployment
  • Develop and test net new Daily Communications franchises in collaboration with Brand, Merchandising, Analytics, and Engineering stakeholders
  • Implement new marketing technology capabilities to better personalize campaign content to user behaviors and preferences
  • Drive segmentation strategy to improve messaging relevance and timeliness
  • Plan, execute, and measure AB and multivariate experiments within the communications calendar in coordination with Analytics team to enhance Daily Communication strategy
  • Track and analyze campaign metrics to produce ongoing analytical reports in an effort to build a knowledge base of Daily Communications best practices
  • Liaise with external platforms and vendors in a professional and timely manner
  • Drive measurable results around GMV targets, specifically owning 'Daily Comms Repeat GMV' as well as Brand & Partnership campaign GMV

The following might describe you:

  • Experience with Braze or Iterable preferred (or experience with an Enterprise lifecycle platform)
  • At least 5 years of experience managing cross-channel campaigns, preferably for a consumer company with millions of registered users
  • Experience with best-in-class segmentation methodologies and their respective role in one-off marketing communications
  • Strong track record of leveraging analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive growth for consumer company with millions of registered users
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data and use learnings to drive actionable results
  • Understanding of email and push marketing fundamentals: CAN-SPAM requirements, segmentation, performance metrics, etc.
  • Innovative, outside-the-box thinker who isn't afraid to take risks and experiment with new initiatives
  • Excellent project management, organization, communication and writing skills
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the company
  • Results-oriented with a strong ownership mentality
  • Strong marketing intuition and creative thinking
  • Keeps a pulse on marketing innovations and the fashion space at large in an effort to bring relevant cutting edge ideas to life at Grailed

Salary & Benefits

Salary ranges are based on data gathered by external vendors evaluated to be competitive in the industry. All compensation packages at Grailed for full-time employees include base salary and equity components.

  • Base Salary: $135,000-155,000 range based on years of relevant experience, level of technical expertise, and related industry experience.
  • Equity: Compensation for this role will include a competitive equity component.
