In this Marketing Operations role on Figma's Growth Marketing team, you'll play a critical part in working across marketing, sales, product, and growth to ensure our marketing team is set up for success as we continue to scale. You'll analyze existing processes and tooling, identify gaps and areas of opportunity, and scope, propose, and implement better solutions so we're set up for success as we scale. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter, willing to help out on any project, and excited about partnering with a variety of cross-functional teams.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:
  • Optimization: Analyze infrastructure, systems, and data management. Maintain a deep understanding of how our marketing tech stack works and act as a point-of-contact for questions and troubleshooting.
  • Planning: Scope and project manage foundational initiatives. Implement and own new tools, develop more streamlined solutions and processes, and identify areas the broader marketing team can be more efficient as we continue to scale.
  • Data processing: Own our event and livestream lead processing efforts, and assist with lead scoring, routing, and data enrichment initiatives for various demand gen channels.
  • Enabling: Coordinate with cross-functional partners to document updates, train and onboard teammates, and present key changes.
  • Reporting: Track, measure, and share program results with collaborators. Communicate insights and next steps with marketing, sales, product, and engineering team leads as needed.
Some projects you could work on:
  • Scope, implement, and roll-out new and updated tooling to support lead capture, enrichment, routing, and qualification
  • Team up with members from our marketing, data science, and sales teams to audit processes, propose suggestions, and document changes
  • Analyze our manual livestream clean-up process and our web form and paid marketing integrations to ensure proper lead routing and follow-up processes are in place, and propose and implement ways to automate and simplify them
  • Partner with analytics to ensure lead tagging in place supports a full view on our marketing funnel and identify what we would need in place for an attribution model
We'd love to hear form you if you have:
  • 4+ years experience in marketing operations, including data management and processing, reporting, and campaign logistics
  • A deep understanding of either the exact or very similar tools currently in our data stack: Marketo, Salesforce, MadKudu, Endgame, Drift, Census, Ringlead, LeadGenius, Zapier, and FiveTran, along with web tools like Sanity, HotJar, Optimizely, etc.
  • Familiarity with Mode, Looker, Segment, Snowflake, or similar analytical platforms and databases; Excel expertise and SQL knowledge a huge plus
  • Experience implementing marketing tooling with exceptional project managing and planning skills, including a playbook for scoping requirements, evaluating vendors, proposing timelines, and rolling out changes
  • Experience working with sales and business ops teams to route leads and analyze data in various systems, and solid experience distilling complex issues into structured frameworks and developing concrete action plans
  • Comfort with managing a high amount of requests, frequently shifting priorities, and competing deadlines
  • Experience working with dispersed marketing teams in different regions and understanding the impact and implications of recommendations to different roles
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a deep understanding of the importance of building strong working relationships
  • High attention to detail with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
