What can you tell your friends when they ask you what you do?

We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic intern to support our exciting marketing activities for Japan. You will be working at a fast-paced, cross-functional organization contributing to driving success for mobile publishers. You will be supporting broad marketing activities, from lead gen activities like events and tradeshows, localization of global marketing assets including website, white papers, and other collaterals, performing market research to find new customers, and supporting Japan Marketing Manager in all of day-to-day marketing planning and execution. Your contribution will have a huge impact on the success of data.ai Japan. This position will be both working out of the data.ai Tokyo office (WeWork) and remote from anywhere in Japan.

Please note that this is a 6-month internship *

You will be responsible for and take pride in...

Contribute to the execution of our Japan digital campaigns, creating awareness and generating demand for our Intelligence and Analytics products using social media
Participate in the paid media strategy and the implementation of the campaigns
Support for the creation of new ads (design, messages, target audience) based on data analysis
Support the execution of all Japan events logistics, from planning to execution stages (venue sourcing, vendor contracting, event logistics, registrations, reservations)
Create & maintain collaboration recaps and update the marketing team weekly
Preparing presentations for internal and/or external marketing meetings and updating them as needed
Assist with projects in the areas of marketing, event development, and sponsorship/development as needed
Review and re-write (if necessary) Japanese marketing assets
Becoming better at what you do every day

You should recognize yourself in the following...

A minimum of an Undergraduate degree with a strong academic track record in marketing, public communications/journalism, economics/business, and/or Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral)
Self-motivated to work proactively on tasks
Proficient in MS office, Photoshop, Video-editing, documentation skill
Has excellent project management, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Experience in any Emailing (Marketo) and CRM system (eg. SFDC) is helpful
Strong sense of ad-creativity coupled with research and analytical ability
Familiar with FaceBook/YouTube/Instagram and has a deep understanding of social media
Communication and copy-writing skills in Japanese
Well-organized and detail-oriented
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-performing organization
Mobile savvy, early adopter, and trendy
