The role

As a Growth Marketer at Otter, you will play a critical role in caregiver and careseeker acquisition across organic and paid media programs, with a biased towards organic. You are excited about experimentation and will proactively dive into growth and optimization opportunities without needing delegation upfront. You will work closely with our Director of Communications, General Managers, and Operations Specialists and will share your learnings with the entire Otter team.

What you'll do

  • Design and execute experiments that drive caregiver and careseeker engagement and improve conversion on our platform.
  • Double down on experiments that are working, using your judgement and data.
  • Analyze performance, uncovering new ways for Otter to grow.
  • Share your learnings so we can continue to refine the product.
  • If you're creative, you'll have the opportunity to develop social media content that is topical, genuine, and consistent with the Otter brand.

What you're great at

  • Understanding the unique challenges of cold starting marketplaces.
  • Looking at marketplace growth with an experimentation lens.
  • Knowing your conversion metrics inside-out.
  • Doubling down on organic channels with great ROI, reaching for paid channels last.
  • Validating paid strategy via other channels first so you start paid campaigns with a thesis about why they'll work.
  • Leveraging different channels, including email marketing, SMS marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Understanding of customer behavior and teaching other members of the team about it.
  • Empathizing with parents and caregivers ?" you might be one yourself.
  • Thriving in fast-paced environment, where priorities shift quickly.
  • Collaborating with other members of the team in service of company-wide goals.
