We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join our Marketing Communications team. The main responsibility of the Event Manager is to create and execute first class event experiences for our customers and prospects. Boulevard offers salon and spa management software to luxury brands. They expect the highest level of attention to detail and creativity when it comes to in person or virtual events. The Events Manager will ensure that all Boulevard events are successful and cost-effective, aligning to the goals of the brand and growth goals of the organization.

Event Manager is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotions. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance. In addition, we are looking for someone who is very customer-centric and understands that serving our customers is a top priority.

What You'll Do Here

• Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and company objectives (including virtual events)
• Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team on creative asset creation and event promotional plans
• Work cross functionally with other departments including Sales, Business Development and Product for event strategy and execution
• Proactively offer suggestions to enhance the event's success
• Prepare budgets and ensure events are high quality but within budget
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure event success
• Supervise all on-site personnel to ensure a positive customer experience
• Lead all promotional efforts prior to, during, and after the event
• Attend in person events in order to ensure a smooth operation
• Ability to communicate effectively and deliver value propositions verbally to both existing and potential customers
• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
• Build processes for repeatability and scalability of event activities
• Monitor and measure the ROI of events and evaluate results

What You'll Need

• Proven experience as event manager
• Skilled in project management, budget management and customer service
• Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• A knack for problem-solving and staying calm under pressure
• Customer-service orientation
