The Role:

We're looking for a talented, experienced leader to lead and grow our Product Marketing Release function. You will be responsible for building and managing a 5-star team, helping to define our innovation narrative with compelling, differentiated messaging and strategy. You have a deep understanding of the customer journey for B2C marketing buyers, and you will bring the stories of how Iterable transforms leading brands. You will ensure our narrative is reflected at every customer touchpoint.

Position Details:

  • Lead, motivate, mentor, and grow the product marketing team ensuring they are successful in their roles
  • Be the expert and spokesperson for Iterable's products and innovation, use cases, and the markets in which we compete, internally and across external press and analyst relations channels
  • Create and execute GTM & Launch plans for new features and releases and lead the New Product Introduction process across the company
  • Develop messaging, positioning, buyer personas, product presentations and key content for product launches
  • Collaborate with marketing leaders to create and socialize company messaging and positioning upholding the company voice and personality
  • Oversee the development and execution of launch plans for new product initiatives, working closely with product, PR, sales, support, and the rest of the marketing team
  • Be a trusted partner to the product team and relay customer, sales and market insights that inform product roadmap decisions and strategy
  • Partner with the product and growth teams to improve the end-to-end user experience including funnel optimization, new feature development, and customer engagement
  • Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape to ensure that the team can communicate key differentiators of our products and identify opportunities for future growth
  • Work closely with the demand generation team to design campaigns that position Iterable as the solution for B2C growth marketers to engage and retain their customers

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience in product marketing for a high-tech, SaaS company ideally targeting Marketing buyers
  • Strong understanding of the world of email and cross-channel engagement
  • Experience hiring and managing Product Marketing Managers
  • A product marketing thought leader-deep experience in pricing, segmentation, and packaging
  • Proficient at analyzing competing products and strategies, and using those insights to anticipate competitive directions and to identify opportunities for innovative positioning and messaging
  • Track record of producing a range of marketing assets, including product demo videos and sales pitch-decks
  • A collaborative and confident leader with a natural talent for speaking in front of internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to flawlessly execute multiple concurrent projects and guide others to do the same

We've rethought traditional workplace planning and are looking to strengthen belonging, innovation, productivity, and happiness whether it's in an office, from home, or a hybrid of the two. As such, we've moved to a single geographical compensation band for all of our employees (the San Francisco Bay Area market for the US, London for the UK).

For Colorado-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $161,700/year. The compensation package includes equity, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial and other benefits. Additionally, perks such as daily paid lunches and generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others, are included.
