Digital Marketing Analyst

Gtmhub

Remote job description

The Marketing team at Gtmhub is looking for a proactive and data-driven Marketing Analyst with a high degree of intellectual curiosity, exceptional critical thinking abilities, and technical expertise. The Marketing Analyst will play a key role in developing insights that will inform marketing strategy, optimization, and future strategic decisions. You will be responsible for building reporting solutions and providing insights into funnel behavior, channel performance, conversion rates, website traffic, and campaign impact.

This is a remote position - you can join our team from anywhere in the world with a reliable internet connection.

About Gtmhub

At Gtmhub, we believe that everyone deserves to work in an environment where there is consistent alignment between mission and activity; where transparency breeds trust; where accountability reigns; and where focus results in positive outcomes. That's why we have built the world's best business orchestration platform, powered by the proven OKR methodology, so our clients (and we!) can achieve the missions that matter.

We are honored to support over 500,000 users across 75 countries and 1,000+ organizations including Red Hat, Adobe, Societe Generale, and TomTom. We've raised over $160 million in funding, including our most recent Series C led by Index Ventures, and our global team is growing fast.

The Role

As a Marketing Analyst you will:

  • Own, oversee and manage our web analytics tools
  • Create reporting and dashboards for non-technical users and maintain custom reports
  • Analyze and facilitate marketing program reporting and retrospectives across web traffic, marketing funnel, advertising, email, webinar, and campaign performance with an eye toward continuous improvement and sharing insights across the team.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of quantitative data derived from paid and unpaid media traffic and online visitor behavior spanning across major digital advertising platforms and our website
  • Analyze, visualize and communicate lead lifecycle to close
  • Measure ROI of all digital marketing activities
  • Report regularly on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement
  • Recommend website and campaign optimizations
  • Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)
  • Support the analysis and reporting of all A/B tests
  • Perform regular QA audits to ensure data is being gathered accurately
  • Construct advanced statistical models to uncover data problems like opportunity attribution, true campaign performance (not just the vanity metrics), and gaps in processes
  • Maintain existing marketing technology and integrate new tools and processes to drive optimization and automation
  • Work with our marketing and sales teams to become an expert on the company's lead funnel and demand waterfall - from web visitors to customers and everything in between.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in creating reporting and analyzing data related to marketing activities
  • Commanding knowledge and experience working with various marketing analytics tools including, but not limited to Google Analytics, Grow.com / Google Data Studio (or similar tools), VWO (or similar tools), Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Moz (or similar tools)
  • Experience working with Google Tag Manager and setting up tags/triggers for conversion/goal tracking
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation (HubSpot experience is a plus), and CRMs (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills including a talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
  • Deep understanding of the interrelationships between numbers and business operations. You can interpret the "why" and the "how" behind the data
  • The go-to for all things data interpretation - you are a trusted partner to communicate insights to a variety of audiences
  • A can-do, collaborative personality and detail orientation that can lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to adjust to rapidly changing business priorities and challenges - you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Must be able to identify what marketing activities are working and where there are opportunities for optimization
  • Technical capabilities and a desire to improve processes
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or Quantitative fields
  • Bonus: PowerBI, SQL, R, or Python experience
  • Bonus: GA4 Expertise

Compensation and Benefits

What's in it for you:

  • Competitive base salary (52K EUR - 60K EUR)
  • Quarterly bonus opportunities (up to 25%)
  • Generous paid time off, generous company holidays + sick leave
  • Employer-covered supplementary medical insurance (varies by location)
  • Access to 5,000+ Udemy courses for ongoing learning and development
  • Flexible hours and a remote-friendly environment
  • Stock option opportunities
  • Mac or PC of your choice and the essential equipment you need to work remote
  • Meaningful and challenging work in a global scaleup and category leader
  • Uniquely transparent and casual environment
  • The opportunity to work with smart, driven, and caring colleagues
  • The ability to grow your talents and career!
