About The Role

The Content Program Manager will take the lead on driving the popular Confluent Podcast program on the Developer Experience (DevX) team. This will require collaborating with the podcast host to develop and implement the strategy, measure impact and generate ideas to inspire and engage Confluent's developer audience, report metrics, and summarize learnings. The program manager will also perform light editorial work on text, video, and audio. As a member of the Developer Experience team, the Program Manager will be curious about Confluent's developer audience, and want to learn how to engage them through content, production, and best practices. As the driver of the program, the Content Program Manager will drive audience engagement and growth, making "Streaming Audio: A Confluent Podcast about Apache Kafka" an exceptional podcast experience for developers.

What You Will Do:

• Own and manage the podcast library.
• Serve as the main point of contact for podcasts both internally and externally.
• Manage intake with host and speakers and support the backlog.
• Coordinate recording and production with the Interactive team and external clients/speakers.
• Copyedit SEO optimized podcast description, metadata, and additional content for publishing.
• Manage pre-release activities such as reviewing with internal and external clients to get consent for launch, final edits, communications etc.
• Publish the weekly podcast and manage maintenance of podcasts through its lifecycle.
• Coordinate metrics/dashboarding with the DevX team on a weekly basisReport and manage bugs and issues.

What You Will Bring:

• 2+ years of experience managing projects.
• 2+ years of experience with audio and video production/editing with Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects.
• 2+ years of experience related to content management and writing / publishing skills of technically oriented materials.

What Gives You An Edge:

• Experience with podcasts and what makes a great podcast.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Cloud.
