We are solving one of the largest yet unsolved problems in global e-commerce. Our tax automation software enables companies such as Uber, Zoom, Lime, Booking.com, GoStudent, and Teachable to expand their international offerings more quickly and stay tax compliant.

Fonoa is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to shape and implement a global content marketing plan. The role is responsible for leading content marketing initiatives and shaping a narrative that promotes Fonoa's brand awareness and enhances prospecting/lead generation opportunities across multiple channels.

We are looking for someone to run the day-to-day creation, management, and distribution of content which will involve both writing content and managing external writers/potential agencies. Fonoa's content requirements range from thought leadership articles and content for each buyer journey stage to sales playbooks, how-to guides, and nurture emails.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with our subject-matter experts and Fonoa's marketing team to develop and deliver an effective content strategy that is aligned to our brand strategy and positions Fonoa as a leading voice
  • Coordinating and creating content for integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with internal teams and external resources
  • Develop and manage a content calendar that highlights our key messages, creates a consistent flow of communication, and addresses each of our target audience personas
  • Develop standards, systems, and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, retrieval, and repurposing.
  • Review, edit, and improve content written by others.
  • Interview subject matter experts and conduct research to develop relevant and valuable content.
  • Leverage market data and external content to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to create assets that will engage our audiences.
  • Establish a workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content.
  • Develop Fonoa's tone of voice guidelines and become the guardian for tone.
  • Writing, editing, and proofreading content (emails, e-books, one-pagers, decks).

You would be a great fit if:

  • 4+ years of experience in a content marketing role in B2B SaaS business
  • Great research, writing, and editing skills
  • Strong understanding of SEO and how to optimize content accordingly
  • Self-starter with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive content projects from start to finish.
