About the Role

As Instacart's rapid growth continues, we are looking to add to our B2B Marketing team within our CPG-focused group. We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager who will serve as the conduit between the Product and Brand Partnership teams for both Instacart Ads and Eversight by Instacart, communicating updates to Instacart's advertising products and Eversight's SaaS products, owning positioning and messaging of products to support smooth product and feature launches, bringing feedback from Brands back to Product, and partnering with Product to build a strong ads product roadmap by serving as voice of the customer and voice of the field.

On the Ads side of the business, our vision is to become an indispensable marketing partner to every brand. To date, we have built an advertising business which has enabled brands to drive awareness, consideration, and sales on our platform. The CPG Marketing team, part of the B2B side of the business, seeks to educate, excite, and accelerate CPG brand partners through world-class product marketing, channel marketing, events, content, and co-marketing.

About the Job

  • Develop & maintain a deep understanding of Instacart's existing Ads products and the Eversight by Instacart SaaS product suite
  • Serve as the voice of the customer (advertiser) when partnering with the Product team to develop the product roadmap
  • Own go-to-market strategy for pilot and feature launches, developing unique and compelling marketing strategies that resonate with CPG audience
  • Conduct competitive research & market analysis for Instacart Ads
  • Author the positioning & messaging of our product offerings, develop sales narratives, and create collateral such as sales decks, launch communications, and more
  • Collect & aggregate feedback from internal & external stakeholders on their needs & pain points
  • Partner with growth marketing to drive product awareness and adoption, focusing on specific CPG segments (Strategic, Emerging, Mid-Market, etc.)
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales & Insights to draw compelling insights and bring current CPG brand successes to life through case studies and testimonials

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years marketing experience, 3+ years in Product Marketing at a technology company
  • Strong written & verbal communication with the ability to express complex topics clearly & easily
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities
  • High proficiency with Google Slides & comfort with basic analytics
  • Strong business judgment and creative problem solving skills
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to navigate & influence internal management-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • An interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment and innovating amidst ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B marketing, experience with AdTech (specifically Promotions) and/or B2B SaaS


Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here.

For US based candidates, the base pay ranges for a successful candidate are listed below.

$149,000-$165,000 USD
