As the Assistant Manager, Brand Social Media, you will support, optimize and grow our social media properties with a core focus on community management, content planning and reporting analytics. This role is part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that relies on strong cross-functional relationships, keen brand awareness and excellent judgment. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Content & Social Media, the Assistant Manager is dually responsible for leading social media execution on our brand channels + content planning + community management.

Responsibilities:

Channel ownership & content management

  • Manage posting to all brand social channels (@AnineBingOfficial) including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok
  • Work closely with Creative team on planning daily/weekly/monthly social content calendar across brand social channels and distribute necessary updates to internal stakeholders
  • Provide strategic oversight for content and editorial calendars in partnership with Creative
  • Support the build-out of the TikTok strategy for the brand led by Senior Director, Global Content & Social Media
  • Lead the creation and management of content briefs / requests to Creative
  • Own social asset management including content reviewing and archiving

Community management

  • Proactively and reactively respond to customer inquiries on Anine Bing Official social platforms and ensure clients requests are received and executed upon in a timely manner and in accordance with our guidelines
  • Exercises speed, judgment and escalates questions/issues to the team as needed
  • Develop best-in-class process and system for customer service responses
  • Works with Senior Director, Global Content & Social Media to monitor global news and current events and how it relates to and effects brand social channels and content

Insights & analytics

  • Working with social insights tools to keep a close eye on content, constantly aware of what is performing (or what is not) and continuing to optimize
  • Monitor day-to-day performance for all brand social franchises and create weekly analysis to identify key trends, ROI, and revenue drivers
  • Create Monthly recap reports to be shared with Executive team of overall social performance
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing and Communications team to measure success of influencer partnerships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • Position requires 3-5 years of social media / community management experience
  • Should be a self-starter and have a keen ability to work on multiple projects with multiple cross-functional partners and teams
  • Must be consumer-obsessed, eager to engage with our audience on a daily basis with a fundamental interest in community and trends.
  • Must be organized and highly detail-oriented, double-checking work with unprompted follow-through
  • Should demonstrate a passion for the fashion industry
  • Experience working at innovative, fast-paced startups or indie brands is a plus
  • Hyper independent and self-motivated, and always proactive versus reactive
