At Figma we are creating a community of practice where our users can connect, learn, and advance their skills through sharing with each other. Our advocacy team is at the core of the community ?" online, in written and video content, and in live interactions with our users. We're looking for our first advocate focused on supporting FigJam, who can guide companies how to create a culture of collaboration by ideating, aligning, and, bonding as a team. This is a full time role that can be held from our SF/NYC hub or remotely in Canada or US.

What you'll do at Figma:

Build compelling templates: Help users get started faster by creating high quality, well organized templates for a variety of use cases from brainstorms to product plans
Enable FigJam users at scale: Create content that helps users how to use the tool successfully and encourage others to share their learnings and experiences (ex: videos, articles, host a livestream, social)
Sales enablement: For key high value accounts, join sales demos to explain the product, answer in-depth questions and help customers unlock how they can run effective jam sessions and meetings in FigJam
Motivate and empower the community: Maintain and establish relationships with users in the community and find opportunities to collaborate
Events: Speak regularly at meet ups and conferences. Support Figma community advocates leading events worldwide

Some projects you could work on:

Design and publish FigJam templates around a variety of use cases to help users get started
Work closely with a large customer to support their trial with Q&A sessions and workshops
Plan and host a 1:many webinar program to help onboard and teach users
Livestream/video content to help share user stories and best practices with the greater community

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Facilitation expertise, a love for frameworks, and experience using visual collaboration tools with teams
Passion for interacting the community
Comfort speaking publicly to large groups of people
Ability to produce on-brand easy-to-follow templates
An understanding of the evolving challenges of design teams at scale and how designers work with design adjacent roles
An entrepreneurial mindset and joy for iterating on projects from early experimental ideas through to completion
Comfort-level with up to 25% of travel (post-COVID)
