Our recipe includes love of all people, thriftiness, and targeting the root causes of poverty to bring about human transformation and fullness of life. With us every 60 seconds a family gets water, a hungry child is fed, and a family gets the tools to overcome poverty.

As Senior Grant and Contract Officer, your expertise will be brought to bear on work that is close to the heart of God (in the spirit of Matthew 25:34-40). In this role you will work on complex regional portfolios and serve as contact person and principal advisor to client groups such as the International Programs Group, Corporate Development, U.S. Programs, field offices, and senior management for all compliance issues related to public and private grant funding. And fundamental to your life: you're inspired by your faith in Jesus to love God and love your neighbors. Does this sound like you? Want to be a part of creating the future of this incredible organization? We'd love to hear from you.

Track audit/compliance issues for the life of each project, including certifying and completing formal closeout requests. (3) With support from attorney, as needed, you draft and negotiate letters of support, teaming agreements, subgrants, amendments, professional service agreements. Assist as necessary with subgrantee compliance monitoring.

Donor Relations: (1) You develop and maintain relationships with various donor personnel, including agency agreement, contract, and policy officers for regions under management in order to be as effective as possible in agreement negotiations and to keep apprised of policy and regulatory changes. (2) You provide input to WVUS comment letters to donor agencies regarding proposed revision and implementation of policies and regulations. (3) You oversee management of legal audit files and compliance databases for own regional portfolios.

Capacity building: You develop and conduct training and capacity building for headquarters, field, and partner staff.

03 About World Vision USA

When you work at World Vision, your passions and talents come together to meet the greatest needs in the world today. We go to ends of the earth and into the margins. Where few go and the road is less traveled. Because Jesus is alive in the hardest places to be a child. We are dangerously soft-hearted. But just the right kind of dangerous. That's because we're a global Christian humanitarian organization. We partner with children, families, and their communities to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. We empower people out of poverty. For real. For good. For nearly the last 70 years. Jesus' love at the center. Always. We're Christian and follow Jesus' example to show unconditional love to the poor and oppressed. Serving every child we can regardless of faith. Are you feeling called to explore joining us? We hope so.

04 Let your work be your faith in action

Every day, nearly 16,000 children under the age of 5 die from preventable causes. Our call to action is urgent. That's why we're looking for someone who is ready to place their expertise behind helping the world's most vulnerable children. Every stroke of the keyboard, shift in strategy, and innovation in our marketing of fundraising initiatives can help influence whether someone chooses to help today or not. If not you, then who?
