Figma is looking for an exceptional lawyer to lead our corporate legal function. You will have primary responsibility for all corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, global entity management, and fundraising, M&A and other strategic transactions. You're an ideal fit for the role if you're a talented and experienced lawyer who is excited to make an immediate impact across the company.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:

Build and lead our corporate legal function to meet the needs of our rapidly growing business
Lead matters relating to compliance with global securities laws, including public company readiness, SEC reporting and disclosures, proxy management, and investor relations, as needed
Assist with board agendas and materials, keep records of all meetings and corporate actions, and assist with onboarding and vetting of new board members
Support fundraising, M&A, and other strategic transactions
Provide legal advice and support on global equity plans, executive compensation, and related matters
Manage network of global subsidiaries
Help develop, implement and continually improve company and team processes and procedures

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

10+ years of experience as a corporate securities or corporate transactions attorney(mix of top-tier law firm and in-house experience preferred)
Expertise in securities law compliance and corporate governance issues, managing public company readiness and other SEC submissions and communications, and structuring and negotiating financing, M&A and other strategic transactions
Strong experience managing complex transactions and driving cross-functional execution
Excellent project management skills, with an ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Experience supervising lawyers and/or paralegals and an interest in building and developing excellent teams
