Dandy is hiring a Data Analyst II to join our rapidly scaling technology organization. In this role, you’ll be challenged to leverage cutting-edge data tools, given the freedom to solve complex problems independently, and will drive immediate impact through actionable insights.

We are building the analytics engine behind the evolving Dandy Supply Chain stack. This is the backbone of the manufacturing side of the business, responsible for planning, routing, and optimizing the world’s largest custom manufacturing business. As a Data Analyst II, you will turn this operational complexity into clear, strategic intelligence that propels Dandy forward.

This role will require frequent travel (approximately 25%) to our Provo, UT and/or Indianapolis, IN offices.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build production management and prescriptive analytics systems to help operators execute and scale
  • Develop and insights that drive impact within the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams
  • Define the data language (i.e., KPIs, dashboards, measurement, etc.) to ensure your team grasps the underlying truth that drives progress and success
  • Facilitate rapid decision making through ad hoc work or by democratizing data/self-service (effective BI and user-friendly explores in Looker)
  • Utilize your data super powers to reduce ambiguity and solve problems

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in data analytics or data science, ideally in a B2B operations setting
  • BA/BS in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, operations research or a BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with statistics skills
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Strong Python skills
  • Previous experience using data to drive impact in a manufacturing or physical production environment
  • Familiarity with operations research and supply chain management concepts
  • Strong communication skills and experience communicating results in a way that drives change. You have the ability to use data to inform, align, and lead
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and statistical skills

  • Experience with Hex/Jupyter, DBT or Data Orchestration (we use Dagster)
  • Familiarity with Gen AI tools and AI-assisted development
