The Role

TuneIn is seeking a thoughtful, thorough and team-oriented Technical Recruiter to play a pivotal role in TuneIn's success and continued growth. As a key member of our People Ops team, you'll partner with our business leaders across our organization to help scale a variety of teams in a generalist role. Our ideal candidate is flexible to support any/all departments, as needed.

Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead technical searches, and partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to attract, select and retain talent that adds long-lasting value to TuneIn. Join us to reinvent radio for a connected world!

What You Will Do

    • Proactively source a wide-range of candidates that allow us to build a company of exceptional, and diverse talent that is representative of the global listening audience that we serve. You will maximize sourcing team support, as well as use a variety of tools and methods (Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, employee leads/referrals, networking) to establish a consistent candidate pipeline of top-tier talent for the technical searches that you lead.
    • Be a TuneIn brand ambassador as you manage candidates through the entire recruiting lifecycle, promoting personalized and positive candidate experience throughout every step of the recruiting process. You are transparent and authentic in your interactions
    • Partner with hiring managers (consult) to thoroughly understand how they are building and developing their teams. Invest the time, and share knowledge, including data, to thoroughly understand the manager's hiring needs and invest time and rigor to continually learn and improve the knowledge repository together for each search. Conduct search retrospectives to measure & memorialize
    • Passionately prioritize, and bias toward action, as you assess and make recommendations on qualified candidates. Facilitate interviews and interview panel discussions on candidates and the interview process, while promoting fairness and consistency
    • Drive the offer process, including negotiating and closing candidates

What We Are Looking For

    • 3+ years of work experience in the recruiting industry in the position of a talent sourcer and/or recruiter with a minimum of 2 years in full lifecycle recruiting, with increased responsibility. 1+ years of in-house recruiting experience for a software product company
    • Demonstrated expertise and success partnering with senior leaders (c-level, VP, Director) and hiring managers to build teams for a wide range of departments (preferably both technical and non-technical departments). Willingness to support any department with the organization is a must.
    • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and execute on defined strategic recruiting plans
    • Senior level experience pitching candidates on a company and position, and quickly assessing holistic fit to open positions and business needs
    • Provide regular reports on the status of searches, and present data and solutions.
    • Patient, communicative team player, with outstanding interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills that lead to being successful in completing searches
    • Well versed in LinkedIn Recruiter, and the use of Boolean Search operators. Experience with Lever and Gem are a plus
    • Strong understanding of consumer technology products that have complex platforms and systems to support millions daily active users/listeners is a must
    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • This position can be hybrid in-office/remote or 100% remote (we're flexible).
    • Consumer (B2C) software product company experience a plus
