As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will help oversee and streamline the recruitment process for a growing PaaS startup. During your time here, you will be executing real projects within the Talent Acquisition team, helping schedule candidates, performing heavy-lifting sourcing, and maintaining our Applicant Tracking System. You will shadow multiple experienced recruiters and sourcers to learn the end-to-end recruitment process in depth.

What you'll do here:

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, talent acquisition business partners, and candidates, anticipating changes in availability and making alternative plans in advance
  • Support the full life cycle recruiting process from requisition opening and partnering with Hiring Managers to create job descriptions and offer letter creation/onboarding
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS - Lever) and career postings by opening and closing requisitions, updating job information, reassigning positions
  • Help recruiters review inbound applicants while also tracking metric and pipeline activity in our ATS
  • Assist with candidate sourcing for key roles in various technical and non-technical departments
  • Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and college recruiting efforts; administer assessments
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to create a future roadmap of developing and growing our future classes of interns - including structure, supervisor, and interactive project plans.

What you'll need to thrive:

  • Experience: 2+ years of internship or work experience in a related field
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Time-Management: Ability to self-prioritize and manage time in a face-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Detail Oriented: Ability to ensure the accuracy of highly detailed and confidential information
  • Team Player: People-focused and proactive with excellent follow-up and a sense of urgency
  • High-Quality Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Inquisitive: A genuine curiosity in building effective and operationally excellent businesses
  • Career Goals: The drive to take the next step in your career and follow a structured career growth plan all the way from Recruiting Coordinator to Lead Recruiter
  • BONUS POINTS for Prior startup experience | Prior experience working as a technical sourcer/recruiter | Being knowledgeable about current trends within the tech industry, differences between programming languages, and Github | Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and/or Lever ATS, Greenhouse ATS | Prior experience with Confluence

  • Connect with key employee management stakeholders across the company
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews for any open roles, understanding the in's and out's of any given interview plan, making sure we maintain a superb candidate experience
  • Learn and understand the core business objectives and areas for improvement
  • Begin to own the management and accuracy of our ATS system
  • Help build training documentation for our various tools and systems

  • Suggest best practices and improvements for our candidate experience
  • Maintain and organized candidate pipelines in LinkedIn Recruiter and Lever
  • Become the go-to expert for any ATS related questions/issues
  • Help develop JD's and Interview Plans with Hiring Managers
  • Begin to pick up and learn new tools and technologies for your own career growth
  • After 6 months you'll...

  • Start to develop the foundation of an internship program, building relationships with universities across the U.S.
