We launched as part of Y Combinator's summer 2018 batch and today are handling subscriptions for more than 5 million mobile subscribers, and are the subscription infrastructure for thousands of apps. We are a mission driven, remote-first company that is building the foundation for mobile subscription infrastructure. People are paramount and as the first dedicated talent acquisition hire at RevenueCat, you'll identify unique and talented individuals to achieve our goals. This is an exciting opportunity to build talent acquisition from the ground up at a series A, remote-first company backed by Index and Y Combinator. In partnership with our founders and Head of People, you will be chartered with doubling the team and play a meaningful role in building our culture.

A Day in the Life:

  • Own full cycle talent acquisition from building diverse pipelines through creative sourcing efforts, to interviews, feedback, and offer
  • Measure and report on all aspects of the process and use data to inform talent strategies
  • Drive consistent and scalable processes
  • Deploy innovative strategies to enhance all aspects of candidate experience
  • Develop RevenueCat's employer branding strategy

About You:

  • You have 7+ years experience of full cycle technical talent acquisition and appetite to recruit for some Ops/GTM roles as well
  • A mix of experience in fast-growing tech companies and more established organizations
  • You have partnered with engineering teams and hired for roles including backend, frontend, and mobile
  • Highly analytical and exceptional executor, able to turn ideas into action
  • Adaptable; comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You're strategic and low-ego - there is no task you're 'above' doing
  • You're deeply passionate about employer branding and diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as building a great remote-first company culture

In the first month, you'll:

  • Ramp up on our product, market, and industry
  • Learn the current talent acquisition process and identify ways to make it even better
  • Review our current employer branding and implement improvements
  • Make your first hire

In the first three months, you'll:

  • Hire 5 roles/quarter
  • Become a trusted partner across the organization
  • Develop and report on key metrics
  • Optimize the talent acquisition process

In the first six months, you'll:

  • Train hiring managers and interviewers on hiring at RevenueCat
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies
  • Foster a company-wide culture of recruiting

Within a year, you'll:

  • Grow the talent acquisition team in anticipation of 2021 hiring goals
  • Craft an employer brand that helps RevenueCat attract our best talent
