As part of the pillars of our People Shared Services team, we own Payroll, Benefits, People systems, and People policies and procedures. Our mission is to ensure the best employee experience, and enable the company to keep growing in a scalable way while remaining compliant with the relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

About the role

We are looking for a knowledgeable Payroll Specialist to process and manage Typeform's payroll. You will be responsible for processing payroll for all employees in our global entities (Spain, UK, Germany and US) and for Typeformers in our EOR locations. The primary goal is to ensure Typeformers receive the correct compensation in a timely manner. This is a fully remote role and available for candidates who are based in Spain.

Things you will do

• Execute and coordinate all payroll processes and tools with an eye for optimization, efficiency, and accuracy in all of our locations: Spain, UK, US, Germany and EOR countries
• Calculate correct employee pay by considering hours worked, overtime rates, taxes, national insurance payments and other factors
• Ensure data compliance in our HRIS to ensure smooth execution of our Rewards processes and policies
• Process holiday, sick, maternity and paternity leave payments
• Be the first point of contact for employee questions, global payroll providers and payroll auditors
• What you already bring to the table
• Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll manager in a fast paced, international environment
• Solid understanding of global payroll best practices
• Strong knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
• Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to execute processes and scheduled tasks with little supervision
• Flexibility, creativity and assertiveness
• Knowledge in Social Security and Payroll Taxes

Extra awesome

• Proficient in Google Sheets and good knowledge of relevant Payroll software
• Keeping informed of changes in Payroll laws and regulations
• Experience with EOR (Employer of Record) Management
• Some knowledge in Employment Law, Social Security and Payroll Tax
