The Role
Prosper is seeking an exceptional treasury management professional to become an integral member of the Finance team. The Treasury Manager will play a key role in the Company's cash management activities and strategy. You will coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure all cash and investment accounts are properly managed and all required transactions are completed daily.

The ideal candidate will have robust corporate treasury experience and an ability to think analytically and strategically. The candidate will be exceedingly well-organized, flexible, can work with little supervision, and enjoy interaction with banks. The ability to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment with high efficiency and accuracy is also crucial. This role will also need to be effective in communicating with senior management and help bring new insights to the table, while continuing to deliver on standard duties.

Problems You Will Solve

    • Maintain daily/weekly reporting of cash and investment balances; provide weekly management reporting based on forecast and actuals analysis
    • Forecast the medium and long-term cash and funding requirements
    • Continuously evaluate and improve the analysis and reporting for cash and investments
    • Document and maintain treasury policies and procedures; ensure proper controls and compliance with company policies
    • Serve as administrator for online banking systems and users' access
    • Manage the opening, closing and maintenance of bank accounts, and signature authority
    • Analyze and manage banking fees / drive internal improvements to lower fees with banks
    • Assist in maintaining relationships with banks and other financial institutions and vendors
    • Execute fund transfers, including wire and ACH payments
    • Investigate discrepancies and see resolutions through to completion
    • Initiate and lead various treasury related projects to automate processes and streamline operations to improve existing efficiencies
    • Be a strategic thought partner by providing suggestions for new initiatives and projects
    • Support the accounting team to ensure timely month-end close which includes bank reconciliations and financial and tax audits

About You

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field (i.e. Economics)
    • 3+ years of treasury experience (preferably with a publicly traded company)
    • Excellent Excel, analytical and organizational skills
    • A strong understanding of financial and operational controls
    • Understanding and experience of treasury functions including liquidity, cash flow and financial instruments
    • Demonstrated ability of handling and prioritizing multiple ad hoc requests and adhering to firm deadlines
    • Process-minded with developed ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
    • Team player including the ability to work collaboratively with multiple parties
    • High level of dependability and strong work ethic
    • NetSuite and SQL experience is a plus
    • Knowledge of the lending industry preferred
