Strategic Finance Associate

Topi offers new digital payment solutions for business sellers and buyers. The B2B market has remained largely untouched by the overwhelming success of "buy now, pay later" solutions and subscription services in the consumer space. topi wants to change this and through its products offer business customers attractive new payment choices. Your Role

As a finance team member, you will have a key role in developing and shaping our business and financial strategy and executing several high-impact cross-functional initiatives at topi. Your main responsibility will be working closely with our CFO on strategic finance initiatives which will involve:

• Build financial models to both understand the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the business, and communicate findings and recommendations to the team and stakeholders
• Help create the strategic planning and budgeting process from the ground up, working closely with the team to develop financial and operational goals and measurement
• Provide data-driven insights and analytics via reports and dashboards to facilitate decision making and influence strategy by monitoring metrics and goals
• Support the company's fundraising and financing / capital markets activities
• Assist in ad hoc tasks as assigned by CFO

What we are looking for

• Minimum 3+ years of work experience in Investment Banking or Strategic Finance or FP&A at a high growth company (fintech preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance, financial modelling, and valuation
• Attention to detail, structured approach and ownership mindset
• Strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity and drive to solve problems
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Experience with databases, SQL and BI tools a plus
