You will be an integral part of our growing corporate accounting team, building and improving the day-to-day accounting operations for corporate accounting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in an established corporate accounting function and be able to work seamlessly with cross-functional partners in a hyper growth environment. This role will report to the Director of Corporate Accounting and you should expect to play a foundational role in building a strong and successful accounting organization.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:

Oversee the monthly consolidation process, including foreign currency translation, intercompany transactions, and allocations, to ensure the integrity of internal and external financial reports
Own the global chart of accounts and reporting dimensions in the ERP to ensure consistent and reliable financial information is reported
Develop a best in class accrual process with cross functional business partners
Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures & ensuring SOX compliance in areas of responsibility
Review journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as preparing and/or reviewing financial reporting and flux analysis
Drive process improvements and contribute to accounting transformation projects, including the design and implementation of internal controls and documentation
Support internal and external auditors in the periodic review of the Company financial records
Ad hoc projects within the corporate accounting function and financial reporting support as needed

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years of experience in Accounting with public company experience
Prior experience with building and scaling within a Corporate Accounting function
Experience with consolidation, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting
Experience with Netsuite, as well as general system implementations a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in project management
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
