Why we're looking for someone like you:

In this role you will

• Preparation of semimonthly payroll for salaried and commissioned employees
• Assist in calculating commissions and addressing questions from employees with commission compensation
• Tracking bonus payments and bonuses due (referral, signon, performance, etc.)
• Addressing general payroll inquiries from employees
• Setting up new employees in the payroll system, 401k, and equity administration
• Offboarding employees including final pay, equity repurchases, removal from systems
• Maintaining accurate payroll data in the HRIS system
• Managing special payroll circumstances such as oneoff bonuses, terminations, retro pay, compensation adjustments, and other ad hoc situations
• Responding to and addressing payroll notices including withholding orders, garnishments, payroll taxes, etc.
• Filing and setting up employer information for different states as employees are hired or move to new locations
• Managing leave of absence pay
• Assisting with payroll sections of monthly financial statemen close and account reconciliation
• Providing analysis of payroll and related metrics
• Working closely with Accounting, FP&A, and functional business unit leaders to provide analysis

You will be a great fit if you have

• Experience at a startup and in wellestablished accounting teams with the ability to bring knowledge of best practices
• Willingness to work in a fastpaced and constantly changing startup environment with rapidly increasing headcount
• Experience with Namely, Paylocity, Salesforce, or Netsuite preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and experience in effectively presenting key data
• Strong sense of ownership, organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize

Nice to have

• 4+ years of experience in accounting roles
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
