Overview:

The Payroll Processor is a highly organized and professional individual who builds strong client relationships, establishes clear lines of communication with clients, leadership team and internal staff members. **This position has the option for remote work days.

Responsibilities:
Processes client's payrolls (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly) and in an accurate and timely fashion, maintains client folders, reviews, and verifies client new employee packetsWorks with clients to run special off cycle payrollsPromptly responds to client inquiries via telephone and email regarding payroll and benefits administration to answer and resolve any and all questions and concerns that arise and if need be escalate questions to the Senior Client Account Manager or Manager of the Client Services TeamProvides timely and accurate administration of benefits plans to include enrollments, invoice reconciliation, terminations, Flex Benefits, COBRA compliance, and open enrollment notificationMaintains the electronic files for our clients, on the firm's internal hard-drivePerforms data entry and maintenance of all client information into ADP payroll systems including General Ledger and Paid Time OffInputs benefit administration data on carriers' websitesEnsures procedures are done in compliance with firms HIPPA policyEnter work into internal tracking systemResponsible for the implementation of client system upgrades from RUN to WFN and adding additional company codesMaintain regular and punctual attendanceCoordinates with the Benefits Department on client benefits including open enrollments, renewals, changes, and terminations for benefits programs including medical, life, dental, disability, and 401kPrepares various payroll, benefits, and other reports as requestedContinues to educate oneself on new aspects and areas of compliance in payroll, benefits and human resources as the opportunity arisesWork on special projects for clients if needed

Qualifications:
Experience with ADP PayX, ADP Workforce Now and HRB is preferredAt least five (5) years' experience in payroll processingTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorilyExcellent organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, strong administrative and analytical skills.Reliable with a high degree of confidentiality and integrityStrong analytical skills and problem solvingThrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt at prioritizing responsibilities and tasks to effectively meet deadlinesPersonable, a good listener and can effectively communicate with all staff and client types through both written and verbal meansWorks efficiently both independently and as a member of a larger teamWilling and flexible to help with any urgent issues that happen to arise at the company, even if they are outside the immediate scope of the role
