Stripe's M&A Finance Integration Management team works closely with Corporate Development and Stripe's Finance teams to understand deal strategy and create and execute a Finance integration plan that supports the overall success of an acquisition.

Integrating an acquired company is hard, important work and is often the biggest determinant of whether an acquisition is ultimately successful. We take this responsibility seriously, and are looking for someone to join us in our work to help ensure that our Finance integrations are executed efficiently and effectively.

You will:

  • Manage and continue to build the M&A Finance Integration team. You'll provide leadership on major Finance decisions and ensure Finance teams can scale to support ongoing deals
  • Oversee Finance due-diligence pre-deal close, provide advice on deal structure and terms
  • Understand the business strategy behind a deal in depth + the major milestones post-close
  • Be the face of Finance to acquired company leadership during deal negotiation, integration planning, and early integration work
  • Ensure creation of Finance integration plans for each deal based on the due diligence findings, overall deal strategy, and key milestones
  • Be the connective tissue within Finance and highlight key integration dependencies across Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Finance Operations (Payroll, AP, Billing, Procurement, Third Party Risk), and Finance and Strategy
  • Lead strategic decision making with other cross-functional teams (Legal, HR, etc) to align on major decisions that impact integration planning milestones
  • Own problem solving- simplify and structure information in a way that enables the team to evaluate pros & cons of different options to achieve ideal outcomes
  • Own identifying and implementing improvements to our Finance integration processes
  • Interface with our senior leaders on deal risks and mitigation plans

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 12 + years of work experience in two or more of: M&A Integration, Finance, Program Management
  • Strong, team-oriented leadership skills including the ability to identify, frame, and confront issues and make recommendations for resolution
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth and often ambiguous environments
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience living / working in non-US regions (professional or personal)
