About the team:

Robinhood Financial (RHF) is the introducing brokerage of Robinhood. Today RHF offers a self-directed platform. Our mission is to deliver an excellent end-to-end customer experience and mitigate firm risk while supporting innovative brokerage and financial products. Robinhood wants to grow with our customers. The RHF Investment Strategy Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Investment Strategy. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and other teams. You will help complete high-priority projects, monitor business performance, identify improvements, and help develop a Policy Statement to ensure that the Product provides our customers with the proper tools to invest wisely. You will work with the Sr. Director to define requirements for investment products and investment tool offerings to our customers.

What you'll do day-to-day:

  • Partner with the Sr. Director to develop and maintain investment methodologies.
  • Partner with product, data science and eng teams to help design and execute on complex, months-long projects and product launches
  • Drive analysis and execution on high priority projects that impact crucial metrics relevant to their business unit or product set
  • Help write and be a SME for communications to customers regarding their investments and strategies
  • Work with Learning & Development and CX in developing training for registered representatives supporting investment products
  • Help with CX strategy to build out support model for investment products
  • Assist with the review by Legal & Compliance of new features related to this product
  • Work with Compliance to develop written policy and procedures when new features are introduced or product changes are implemented
  • Identify and resolve operational and compliance issues that may arise during daily activities

About you:

  • 7+ years of investment advisory experience at an RIA, broker-dealer, or financial services firm
  • Knowledge of investment concepts, portfolio management, suitability, SEC Reg BI
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, learn quickly, think critically, and prioritize/own multiple projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
  • Resourcefulness, persistence, and ability to thrive in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong analytical abilities, proficiency with data, and familiarity with making data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Knowledge of a Broker Dealer's and RIA's operations; Mutual Funds, ETFs, Brokerage Accounts and the Managed Account Industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Quantitative field
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 63 (If not held then earned within 6 months)

Bonus points:

  • CFA or MBA preferred
  • Experience interfacing with technical and non technical teams preferred
