FP&A Analyst

About the role

As we are a small team, this position will be involved in the various financial needs of the company, such as data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. FP&A Analyst is a team player who will work with cross-functional teams, such as Revenue, BD, Legal, People/Talent, Tax Technology and Operations.

You will prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.

What you will be doing:

• Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data.
• Build and manage financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources.
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
• Prepare financial reports for internal use at the company by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting information.
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate new projects and investment opportunities by comparing them with each other.
• Recommends financing structures (debt and equity) and considers the company's cost of capital.
• Build budgets and forecasts of future company performance.
• Build and maintain a corporate financial model that details the entire company's operations and projects future performance.
• Perform ad hoc analysis for executives as required.
• Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
• Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
• Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.

You would be a great fit if:

• Bachelor's degree and more than five years of experience in finance or accounting or a related area. CFA/ACA/ACCA is preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a SaaS company is preferred.
• General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
• Experience developing financial reports and metrics.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel, Google Sheets, Google Doc, and Google Slides
• Experience with ERP (Xero, NetSuite), Hubspot, Domo, Tableau, Alteryx, and similar is preferred.
• Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization.
