As Chief of Staff & Head of Revenue Program Management, you will partner with the Chief Revenue Officer to drive efficiency and productivity of the revenue organization, streamlining business initiatives, managing programs, and communicating cross-functional objectives.

The revenue organization at Vanta is responsible for Vanta's revenue targets through net new revenue acquisition, customer retention, and expansion. Under the Chief Revenue Officer, the revenue organization includes sales, sales development, customer success, implementation, and solution engineering. In this role as Chief of Staff & Head of Revenue Program Management, you will act as a trusted advisor and representative of the Chief Revenue Officer, building and executing on programs that drive successful outcomes.

What you'll do as Chief of Staff & Head of Revenue Program Management at Vanta:
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation
  • Partner with the Operations & Finance teams to drive cross-functional alignment and consistent measurement across the revenue organization
  • Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives. Ensure the team is aligned to project requirements. Establish objectives and success criteria for the project with all stakeholders. Communicate the program status to relevant stakeholders and hold them accountable for outcomes.
  • Translate the organizational vision and direction into team priorities in partnership with the CRO
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to solve problems, implement new reporting and planning solutions, create operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards
  • Lead efforts to standardize and/or evaluate ad-hoc processes across organizational boundaries
  • Revenue metrics development, cadence management, organizational process design, productivity measurements, operational activity reporting, and global alignment of metrics in partnership with the Operations, Finance, and Data & Analytics teams
  • Act as a representative of the CRO to various stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Provides expert guidance to help teams leverage data and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]) to drive business outcomes

  • You have a history of leading effective meetings and documenting critical business needs
  • You lead in an effective and trustworthy way
  • You have previously worked with team members from the C-Suite to entry level
  • You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have successfully improved business efficiency by managing an executive leader's priorities through superior organization and planning skills
  • You have multi-segment experience including supporting high velocity SMB teams as well as more complex transactions in Enterprise

We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election. It was clear that security and privacy had become mainstream issues, and that we all increasingly relied on cloud services to store everything from our personal photos to our communications at work.
