Overview

We are seeking a Tax Analyst, Tax Engine to join our Global Tax Technology team. This is an important role that will help support our tax calculation software program. This candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. This candidate should also expect to work cross-functionally and collaboratively, supporting multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment and supporting processes for scalability. We are a fast growing team and looking for candidates who seek to learn and are willing to go into unfamiliar territory.

About the Job

• Leverage experience with data analytics software (Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, etc.) to provide data-driven analysis and insights in support of testing and maintenance of Tax Engine
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations in support of testing and maintenance of Tax Engine
• Participate in the development, support, and execution of end-to-end projects including configurations, documentation, and testing
• Support relationships with outside service providers

About You

• BA/BS in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to shape, design and lead analytical work.
• Technical background and expertise in Alteryx. Additional experience in SQL preferred.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it's needed.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for Instacart.
