Starburst is looking for a creative, hardworking, and passionate Marketing Operations Intern who wants to have an impact at a hyper-growth data and analytics company. In this role, you'll help support and contribute to our Demand Generation team in an effort to optimize our marketing funnel and better align our processes and workflows with inside sales. You'll also have the opportunity to engage with prospects!

Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with marketing, revenue operations, and sales team to support the marketing lead process and optimize the funnel
  • Help perform data analysis, data management, and data clean-up to ensure leads are effectively routed and managed
  • Follow up on marketing leads. You will get to try your hand interacting with customers by phone, email, and/or live, and researching existing customers to create a detailed view of the lead workflow.
  • Educate customers who are at the beginning of their journey and move them from warm or little interest to active interest, and ultimately consideration & decision.
  • Nurture leads with tailored messaging to increase customer understanding of the Starburst offering.
  • Opportunity to be part of a team to lead a global cross-functional to drive operational excellence, scale, and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional driveExcellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated team player and a willing learner with a "can-do" attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, prior startup experience a huge plus
  • Good understanding of the data and analytics landscape with an interest in emerging technologies
  • Bonus points for prior internship experience in B2B marketing with systems and tools such as SFDC, HubSpot or 6Sense.
